Continuing on continues on on the ongoing saga of the Correct Craft project boat. This week I actually went to a lumber yard and bought a 50 dollar piece of zebra wood that I shaved down and laid down on the deck (see picture). Some day this boat might even be finished!...knock on mahogony.

How is one supposed to admire the $50 piece of zebra wood when you’ve hidden it under that assortment of temporary weights (to hold it in place while the glue sets, right?). Either that or you got carried away and shaved all of its stripes off (ouch!), thereby making it impossible to detect.
