Re-Attaching the spray guard

Used a through bolt to reattach the semi rotted spray guard.

Stain and varnish.

Just put a coat of varnish onthis puppy after putting cherry colored stain. Can't you just see this boat wagging its gleaming tail in the morning sun in a pristine lake?

Threatening letter continued again

I'm posting this stuff to document and time stamp this, what I deem a intimitating tactic by the County of Santa Clara to scare money that they know is not my responsibility. They are not going for truth and correctness, they are just trying to get "their" money any way they can, however unethical and underhanded it is.

Also: no one called me back, considering the timeliness and importance they are imposing on me, they seem to be not putting it on the front burner, giving more fuel to the fire that they are more like a collection agency than County Government.

I just want to say that I called the contact number on Friday at around 4:00 and left a message to call me about this issue. It's a scary letter like one would receive from a collection agency.

I get a threatening letter in the mail

Out of the blue come this letter from the county of Santa Clara, CA. No prior correspondence, I don't even know what "property" they are talking about. Do you think like I do that this is a little bit (or a lot) Kafkaesque?

Scrapin' and Sandin'

As you can see by the picture, you can see what's happenin. That makes you one of the people of the know. It's a groovy feeling but watch out, you might feel a little to good if you know what I mean.

Do these numbers add up to nothing?...

...or are they indicating some kind of hull identification? We will never know. The important thing is to live your life....your life, not somebody's idea of who you should be.

Still doin' it....

....don't really know why. After I put on the varnish I realised how cheesy it looks, then remembered that's the whole idea......cheap and cheesy. Right now been sanding front of stern as pictured.

Sanding all done.....for now.

Slap a coat of varnish on that thing.

Be a Sanda-nista

Justa sandin' away with three different sanders, one air driven, one electric and one hand powered. Three is the magic number. At least it sounds good. It's like that song Jug Band Music by John Sebastion and the Lovin' Spoonful where they sing: "and everybody knows that the very last line is .. and the doctor said give him jug band music, it seems to make him feel so fine"
